Here’s What I Want For Christmas This Year…

I want peace. And equality. And I’d love to find some common sense gun legislation in my stocking. Or maybe a few cabinet nominees who aren’t the very worst? I know, I know—even Santa has his limitations, especially this year.

But that said, despite many of us fighting feelings of despair, I still can’t help but feel excited about the Christmas season. Maybe it’s because Christmas is a hopeful distraction or maybe it’s because my kids are excited about all of the holiday things. And there’s nothing quite like seeing their love of Advent and their excitement for receiving gifts on Christmas morning.

Just for fun, I thought I’d sharing with you today some of the things I’ve put on my Christmas list this year.

I want Martha: The Cookbook.

I’m a huge fan of Martha and I especially love learning about baking from her. This brand new book, The Cookbook, is listed on Barnes & Noble’s best books of the year.

I love Adidas shoes, especially their classic stripe. I’d take it any color, but there’s something sexy about the black shoe with white stripes…

This sparkling water station by Ninja is on my list this year because I love sparkling water.

My kids are big fans of games. This new game Art Society—game of the year at several retailers—looks amazing.
